Multi-Cloud Infrastructure-as-Code baseline

The client operated workloads across multiple cloud environments that had grown organically over time. Different teams provisioned infrastructure in inconsistent ways, leading to configuration drift, fragmented security controls, and difficult audits. Troubleshooting incidents was slow due to lack of standardization and documentation. The client needed a unified infrastructure foundation that would scale across clouds while restoring control and predictability.

We designed a multi-cloud infrastructure baseline built entirely on Infrastructure as Code, creating consistent landing zones across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The approach standardized networking, identity and access management, encryption defaults, logging, and monitoring, ensuring the same principles applied regardless of cloud provider.

Reusable IaC modules were introduced for common infrastructure components such as Kubernetes clusters, databases, and messaging services. We also implemented CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes, including validation, policy checks, and controlled rollouts. Clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer ensured internal teams could safely extend and operate the standardized environment.
